Morgan

We have finally started to put together a site dedicated to our little fighter, Morgan!  Please forgive us, we are learning as we go, this will be a work in progress.  Our hope is not only to keep all of you updated on her condition but to provide you with some links and information that we think are worth your time.  It saddens us that it took something of this magnitude to open our eyes to not only the extent of childhood brain cancer and it's major lack of research funding (http://www.thecurestartsnow.org/about/brain-cancer/) but also for us to realize that there are so many wonderful charitable organizations that help families going through these catastrophic illnesses!  In fact, we will be going to Disney World in February thanks to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids the World (this is the extraordinary place where we will be staying!).  The story on the founder of Give Kids the World is pretty incredible so if you have a free minute please check these sites out, they are amazing!

As for our strong little cookie, she is doing well!  So far so good with the introduction of the steroids.  The only side effect that we have seen is an increase in her appetite and as we all know, Morgan could definitely afford to put on a few pounds.  We will be heading back to St. Jude this Sunday for a quick visit on Monday and will be returning Tuesday.  Hopefully it will be uneventful!

Finally, a special THANK YOU to Sarah Sirico for keeping up the facebook page for us for so long!

  2. Adam and Nikki, We have been thinking about your family and praying for Morgan. I wish that we could have attended the fundraiser in December... My parents told us how amazing the event was and the incredible support that your family has. Just know that way down here in SC we say a little prayer each and every day. You are an amazing family. I know that your lives are hectic, but thank you for taking the time to create this blog so we can all follow Morgan's successful progress! We love you lots and God bless!
